I applied on Feb 1 for Jan’23 intake and I haven’t received an invite till now. This means the process is done, right? No invite for me - as they usually respond within 2 weeks?

HEC has a decision date, you will hear from them near that (probably an early notification via call if accepted) sghiria

A1212, I received my invite 10 days before the decision date. Seems to be staggered

All the best for your applications! :)
I am looking for information pertaining to the 1st April/1st May application deadline for the Sept'22 intake, as an Indian applicant. Usually, international B-Schools specify that they do not entertain international applicants for the last round (owing to visa constraints), I could not find any such information on HEC's MBA page. (I might have missed it)

It would be great if someone could help me with any relevant information on:
1) Is the conversion rates across rounds similar, especially the last round for HEC?
2) Are Indian applicants, considered in these last rounds for the 2022 intake? Or owing to diversity the seats are full.

Hello RSP92,

Hope you're doing well.

While you should be eligible to apply, chances will definitely be lower than what would have been the case if you had applied in the earlier rounds. Hence, even if it isn't overtly stated, you might want to avoid applying in the last round unless there is an extremely compelling reason for you to do so (and you cannot consider applying for the Jan '23 intake).

Yes, heard from them on last Friday, denied without interview. Had applied for Sep '22 intake.
Does it make sense to apply for the Jan '22 intake ?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi! I sent an email yesterday noting that I had finished my interviews and the Adcom replied they will be sending decisions on Thursday 3rd or Friday 4th the latest.

Hope this helps.



Does anyone know if it is possible to ask for an extension of the deadline to confirm?
