Don’t overthink it; maybe you didn’t talk much to anyone from admissions and they want to know you better, or they want to confirm some abilities you put on your CV, or maybe they want to see if you have other capabilities your CV/essays/recs didn’t show. As they say, in the end it’s an additional data point

Just go with a positive attitude, try to actively participate and show leadership/empathy/analytical skills. Overall it’s a quite enjoyable experience IMO, I had fun

Possible that they have sent invitation for interview + assessment. All invitees also have an assessment. Only interview invitations may follow by Monday.

­I had this query when I had applied in R-2. The ad com asked to me schedule the interview before the assessment day as they will need the interviewer feedback for assessing during the session.

Brodade, dineshnet1997, ShivaneePatiyal, and other IESE Waitlisted Candidates - Seeking help.

I wanted to check what kind of communication the IESE waitlisted candidates have received from IESE. I received two emails with subject lines ’Imtiyaz Ahmed, Greetings from our Global Alumni Network!’ and ’Imtiyaz Ahmed, Here´s a quick glimpse into the IESE Community - Spring Edition.’

Upon reviewing these communications, they appeared to resemble the type of email invitations typically extended to admitted students. However, my status on the IESE admission page still shows waitlisted.

I did. I told them I didn’t have the funds yet and moving around some things but can’t commit right now. They gave me until the end of the month

I am going to the assessment day in NYC. I am not sure what the virtual one will be like but the in-person is at their NY campus and you'll definitely be able to show your true stripes more at the in-person. They test you at the in-person assessment to see how you handle case studies in a group, so at least for me I would prefer that in person and not having to deal with it over video call.

R2 admit here. It’s not rollout per se, but different regional directors will speak to their admitted candidates at different times to let them know via phone. Everyone should get their official letters on the same day.
