Hey guys, I started drafting the essays for the application and was wondering if there are any who are targeting the early decision round which is due Sep 4th. Also I couldn't find essay prompt analysis anywhere yet, so wondering if anyone has made any progress. There are the below two questions in the prompt. Wondering what the school is expecting from the first question. Essay Question I: How do you expect to be changed by your experience at IESE and what impact you would like to make after your MBA? (word limit 300 max) Essay Question II: What are your short and medium term post MBA career goals and how will IESE help you achieve them? (word limit 300 max) Thank you.

Hi everyone! I received the invitation for interview on webex today, no Assessment Day for me though. I know it's being said that it is not necessarily a bad thing, but i've been reviewing and most of the admitted folks attended an AD. Does it mean that my profile isn't that appealing to the adcom?

This is so much fun. People get invited to 2 interviews and AD and they worry, people don’t get invited to AD and they worry. AD basically means IESE wants to see more of you, cause there are some character aspects they aren’t clear about. Most ad have about 30-40 students there , locations are nyc, sao Paolo, barcelona and Singapore. That means 120-160 students in ad, but a hell of a lot more apply and way more get Interviewed. Hello everyone! I submitted my application in R3 and received my invitation on March 11th to interview and attend the AD in NYC. Anyone else going to AD in NYC?

Hello, There were around 60 people on AD in Sao Paulo. Note that there are two dates in Sao Paulo. So, in total, there were around 120 people from Latin America (AD in Sao Paulo is focused on these people). It not everybody, but it is a huge amount. On the other hand, I agree that to participate in is not mandatory, but really shows how interested you are. Sum this up with a good interview and quantifiers aligned to Class Profile, your chances of being admitted are high. Best,

Is there anything that I can prepare before the AD at IESE? A Presentation or a case? Or will the assignment be handed out on the day itself?

if there is a case to prepare, you will usually get a link to download and prepare it a day/a few days ahead of time. our ad consisted of a part we could prepare, and then a part that was handed out the day itself. as to preparation: just be relaxed and have fun. to quote one of my fellow admits: while i don't quite agree with the not caring if you don't get accepted or not, I do agree with the sentiment.

To those that admitted the Hong Kong or Barcelona AD - How was it? How many people attended? Did they give any updates/additional information? I unfortunately couldn't attend due to an unavoidable reason.
