Yes, I did. It was for a just a system check and they asked me to log in to the zoom link early to take care of any technical issue that we might face on the actual day.

My opinion is not not compare it with other IIMs. I would stress mostly on networking and industry connects. Solving case studies with experienced people who have proven leadership would be a great learning experience.

Hey ArjitSri, if you look at IIMA PGPX it is the only one with case method as the sole teaching method. Secondly, IIMA PGPX has a higher average work experience, so if your wok experience is 7+ years you would find a cohort that is more similar to you than ISB/IIMB/IIMC. Also, Peer-to-Peer learning would be more in IIMA PGPX than ISB/IIMB/IIMC. Finally, in rest of the programs you might find a divergence in post-MBA role expectation as being younger programmes they might be willing to start at bottom of the pyramid, which is not the case with average IIMA PGPX candidate.

However, this depends on your own profile, learning methods and expectations from the program. The answer would sound real when it is congruent with you.

Dear Friends

Could you help to clarify if an IR score of 5 can raise a red flag for IIMA.

No one can tell what exactly goes wrong in an application.

As far as interview is concerned, I do not think your IR score is going to be a big red flag. You have a very good quant score and based on that, you can fight for your position in the interview. If at all they ask you about your IR score, come up with a solid reasoning as to why your score happened to be on the lower side.
If you can defend it, it will not make any problem for you.
All the best :)

Hi
IR scores are not looked into by the IIMs. Do not worry about this.

Hi, do you think I have a good chance of being shortlisted for IIM A -PGPX ?

I gave the online GMAT on 24.08.2020 and I scored 640 (Q47 V31)

Not too happy with my score, I decided to give another try , this time at a test center . My exam was yesterday and I improved my score to 700 (Q49 V35). Now, something about me- I am 29 years old, female and I am a Chartered Accountant in practice . I cleared in 2014, so that makes it 6 years of work-ex. I have always worked in a firm where a family member was a founding partner. ( Would working in a family owned firm be looked upon negatively ?) Since clearing my CA exams, I have obtained two additional post qualification diplomas from ICAI. Recently I have also cleared the Independent Director's exam conducted by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. My areas of practice range from Transfer Pricing,Audits, Income Tax to Project Financing . Since the past two years I have also appeared as an authorized representative before the National Company Law tribunal, so add a bit of litigation experience to my profile.

I missed the first round as I wasn't too happy with my score. Please help me in going about the process. Also, is the verbal score (V35) a problem ?
