When it comes to IIM A, your experience is just at the borderline, nonetheless, you should still apply; it would have been nice to see a 675+ on the GMAT as that is around the median but with a set of compelling essays, you should still give both schools a shot.

It’s not GMAT based admission process.

675 is a very good score for a candidate to apply. I won’t encourage someone for no reason to chase a 700+ when IIM ABC and ISB are at target specially when R2 deadlines aren’t too far

Nothing like a safe score per se because the GMAT is only one component of the application. A 675+ is the median; so, the higher your score, the better it will be. A 705+ on the GMAT will be stellar.

Always confirm with the pgpx iim A webpage.
The webpage says the avg GMAT score is 690 for old format and 645 for GMAT focus. And 322 GRE score.
Also, remeber that this is avg score, so a lot of people have got in with scores lower than this.

We have personally worked with candidates at 640 old GMAT score and helped them get into top iims

I have a 655 in FE-91 percentile. Due for interview on 4th Oct at IIMA . Just wanted to know the median scores in focus edition. 675+ (FE) seems to be on a higher side IMHO.

I don’t speak the language of GMAT Classic now, as it is extinct.

I speak the language of only GMAT focus now... so all discussion done by me regarding GMAT is keeping Focus edition in mind

What is the recommended interview attire for women? Does a long kurti with leggings work or are pantsuits with a blazer strongly reocmmended?

Wear formals and anything that you are comfortable in. A kurta and leggings also work, should not be too flashy though. Saree, salwar are also formal wear if worn appropriately.
