There is more than a month for IIM Calcutta (requires only one essay) and IIM Ahmedabad does not require an essay at this stage.
Unless there are any other constraints, 1 month is ample time to prepare a solid SOP and apply in round 1.
You could otherwise work on improving your GMAT score and apply in round 2.

Hi, I have a project management professional having 10+ years of experience in Oil & Gas Industry. I have international exposure of approx. 9 months in 2 different countries.. GMAT score is 680.
How effective it will be if I will apply in R2 application for IIMA or IIMC, since I am not ready with ESSAY writing as of now.

In the IIM Calcutta LOR there’s a place for signature (per the sample form). Is there a requisite for the recommender to take a print out, put his/her signature and upload it back?

How can one initiate recommendation email from form? Is it only done once you submit form completely?

After you click on save and continue come back to the page again. You wont be able to edit anything there. This for me confirmed that the mail was sent. In addition is simply asked my recommenders to check if they got mail from IIM C.

Aren't these two statements contradicting each other ?

1 .GMAT usually gives you an option of sending your scores automatically to up to 5 colleges. If you haven‟t already sent your scores to IIM C at the time of giving GMAT or before filling this form,you will need to do so now. GMAT programme code for MBAEx is 9CP-HT-99. The score must be sent to IIM Calcutta through Pearson VUE within the application deadline (30th August, 2021).

2. However unofficial GMAT score may be submitted along with the application form (within the last date of application) in case the official GMAT score is not received within that date.

One can apply using the unofficial score report , but should the official score report also reach before the Round 1 deadline , or can it reach after deadline as well ?
