Hello,
Got my interview done at Hyd yesterday evening! I was all bleary eyed since I was running from morning 8! So landed cot hyd at 12.30, went in directly to ISB at 1.30. Interview was at 3. Had ample time. I was asked to write an essay on "Shallow" . Wrote a really really good piece. I got into chit chat mode with the other candidates and their accompanying friends. Was really strange since I always will keep to myself.
Was call in at 5-10 min before the schedule. Now the interview.
Panel was of 3 members. 2 alums and 1 from adcom I guess.
1) After all the intro, I was asked to elaborate about my Start-up and what kind of work happens. Was asked to quantify in numbers.
2) Then was asked about a particular point in essay
3) Post MBA Job expectations.
4) Past job roles.
5) Challenging role in work.
6) Questions for them.
Was strange since I was not asked any of the usual questions. Why MBA, Why ISB, no EC activities.. Nothing. No expressions in the panel's faces too!
So hoping for the best! All totally it lasted for almost 25 min.
