Has anyone from Kolkata received interview call? If not any idea when would ISB start sending out the calls for Kolkata?

Hi All,

Struggling to get this sorted, but I am unable to apply online using the following link pgpapp.isb.edu

It keeps giving me a 'connection timeout error'. I tried accessing the application link from different networks, but to no avail.

Is anybody else facing a similar problem? I need to start my application process soon for R2. Should I call ISB and ask them if there's a problem with their online application system?

Me too facing the same problem! Just today I decided to check the interview status online, as someone said we can't rely on their emails/calls. Now I can't see anything.. I hope I'm not too late :(

One possible explanation might be that they are updating the interview schedules for the selected candidates,
because apart from the application portal, everything is working fine on the website :)
All the best!!

Guys, I have a question that's out of this topic, but I'm wondering how you all managed to put an accurate GPA in your profiles? I can only approximate what my undergrad % in India could roughly translate to.. Considering that we don't convert it and leave it to the schools who have enough experience, how can I update my profile with a more accurate number?

Thanks!

I am still unable to log into the online application system.

Could someone please tell me if I am supposed to upload my marksheets/transcripts into the system before the R2 deadline, or only when I receive an interview call?

Actually, what is the list of documents that need to uploaded in the system before the R2 deadline? I have the following list:

- passport size photograph,
- scanned copy of passport, and
- Statement of Integrity (format available in the application portal)

Any other doc?

GMAT score report scanned copy is also required in addition to the documents that you mentioned for application deadline.

Class 12th and college mark sheets are required when you get the interview call.

Thanks guys, really appreciate it.

I never collected my degree certificate, and was panicking about getting it in time for the R2 deadline.

Degree certificate isn't required when submitting the application. However, there is an option to upload the degree certificate when you get the interview call. So better to collect it with time at hand.

Got done with my IV today morning at Delhi.
My panel was out of phase with the others, was delayed by an hour and a half but it was worth the wait :)
Upon reaching I was asked to write 50-100 words on SYMBOLIC.
This seems to be just an English test of sorts since they give you ample time and nobody really monitors this. However some people were asked questions on what they wrote.
The interview was very straight forward one and my panel consisted of three alumni. Being from a shipping background I had a very few industry related questions and more of essay based and post MBA goals related questions. They started by asking me to walk them through my application which I was prepared for, then followed what I would bring to the class, why an MBA, a couple of essay specific questions along with the leadership qualities and skills involved in my line of work and how I am looking to use them post the MBA if I am to make an industry switch. They asked me for instances where I have demonstrated leadership skills and initiatives I have taken to see the world outside of the ship.
Finally they asked if I had any questions for the panel, this is sort of tricky as I had previously thought not asking them is the intelligent thing to do but apparently this is a test of curiosity so I was ready with a twister.
All in all a very stress free interview.
All the best to everyone preparing for their interviews :)

I dont know the ISB's website is down for so many days. Why dont they do something about it. Still not opening. Causing unnecessary anxiety.
