Hi there.. I am all set to apply to ISB this year. I am looking forward to get some assistance in essay reviewing from consultants based in India. I am confused whom to choose from so many available options. I feel applicants who have had an experience working with consultants can suggest me one and it would be great if i could get some help here

Thanks a tonne!!!

Hi! We are glad to introduce ourselves as the only consulting company with former ISB Admissions Managers on Board. Should it interest you, one of our consultants will get in touch with you to provide more details about our services. We will be happy to put you in touch with some of the students who took our help for their ISB application in Round 1.

All the Best!

I did interact with your personnel. But I am looking forward to some feedbacks from ISB alums or some applicants you consulted and helped him/her fetch a call. If i get in touch with them and take some feedback would be great!!

Hi,

I am a candidate who was interviewed on 20th October in Delhi. I want to ask if anyone got a confirmation on the admit. Also, if anyone has any info by when one can accept a reply from ISB.

Hi Anubhav,

All the best for your result.
All the resukts will be announced on the 15th of November for R1 and 15th of Feb for R2.
The results will showcase a change in the application portal accompanied by a acceptance mail on the 15th.

The not accepted (purposely wrote instead of rejection :P ) mails will be released a day after i.e. 16th

Ankur

HI Ankur
I think, you should mail ISB Mantra as moderator to stop its publicity. There is separate forum on gmatclub for that. No Offence to pagalguy.com,,,,but lets not jumble up things on just one thread.

MOE48

What about the status if the application has not been shortlisted? Will this status also be updated? And will the applicants recieve a mail for rejection as well?...

They send a rejection mail only after they have sent the mails to all the successful candidates i.e. one day after 15th of nov (R1) or 15th of feb(R2).
If one does not gets a mail 5 to 7 days before the last interview date (10th of nov or 10th of feb), then it can be assumed that the applicant has not been shortlisted for the interview round.

So in the case of R1, if the interview selection mail is not received till 3rd or 4th nov, then it can be assumed that the applicant was not selected for the interview stage.

I hope this clears your doubts MOE48.

Regards,
Ankur

Hey Ankur!
Going through this post, I had two further questions...
Quick introduction, I am applicant from Delhi who has already applied in R1 and has not received an invite :boom
Firstly, is it possible that I may be invited to another city in spite of choosing Delhi as my preference before R1 ends? (This is to keep my hopes alive for R1!)
Secondly, does ISB have a wait listed applicant criteria like foreign schools? In other words, can I be invited to interview in R2? (This is to help stay optimistic till R2 ends!!)

Thanks
Best,
KW

I recall few posts from a forum in last year's discussions where some R1 candidates mentioned that they were invited in R2 interviews. Though, I believe any unofficial reportings should always be taken with a pinch of salt.

Hi,

Can someone please help me with my profile? i will give kudos too.. i promise :)

I am really nervous and want to know if i should keep any hopes..
my profile is like this:

HSC: 79%
SSC: 84%
GPA: 3.3
GMAT: 650
Sex: Female
Work Ex.: almost 4 years

Field It: IT - Is there any category like Indian IT FEMALE? I've heard it for males though..

I started leading a team in less than 2 years and was sent to Mexico for a year to stabilize operations and handle my clients. Though my GMAT is low, i feel that Mexico experiece can help me out as I even learnt spanish.
Do you think i should keep hopes for Hyderabad interview? just few days left :(

@Zeal, you might want to consider appearing for GMAT again. Your profile and work experience should help and you must put lot of effort in your essays. Best of luck.

Hey Karan,

Someone told me that all the Delhi invites had been rolled out till 15th Oct.
But I have heard cases where R1 applicants have been interviewed in R2. Though i am not very sure and this is nothing official.
I think I do not have the answer to your questions here :|

Probably you can call up the ISB directly and ask what you should make out in this case.

Regards,
Ankur
