This is not true. There is a common placement process for both campuses and recruiters are unaware about your campus while recruiting.

Narenn is right and I totally agree with it. While I do not know by first hand experience, but from what I researched this is exactly what I inferred.

I feel it's on equal footing. However, you might not get the honest answer from aspirants or adcoms and this is when you should really talk to people.
I mean talk to 10-20 alums/friends and then take a decision. You have 10 days to submit the first deposit. Take your time and spend all you energy in networking with those folks.
Ask relevant questions over e-mail; Even better, call them and talk to them. This is what I feel.

P,S : You do have a good gmat score, did you get any scholarship ? I did not get any tuition waiver :(

Same here. No waiver. I wasn't expecting one. ISB is very frugal in giving scholarships.

Got the Early Decision Interview mail on the 28th of October. Interview was scheduled for 5th Nov 2016 in Hyderabad.
Got an email with the offer at 5:27 pm.

Did your interview mail mention "early decision category "?

Yes. That is why I called it the "Early decision interview mail".

Today is 11th November, and I still haven't got any email from ISB stating whether they would like to call me for Interview or Reject my Application.

So does this mean I will get to know about the same in the Second Decision Date i.e. 10th December?

mshrek Why don't you create a separate thread for admitted applicants? Like this one calling-all-isb-admitted-students-class-of-2016-2015-intake-188565.html

When you create the thread, paste following code in the first post to display list of admitted applicants. Feel free to PM me in case any problem occurs.
Code:
[app_tracker status="admitted" id="31" year="2017" program_id="58" width="400" height="500"][/app_tracker]

Yes, the results are out for only those candidates who got interviewed already by 5th Nov.

The rest of the applications are still being reviewed, and interview calls are being sent out every few days. Interviews are expected to go on till end of November. The results for these who get interviewed till then and for the rest of the applicants who couldn't get an interview invite will be out on December 5.

Guys,
Please give me your opinion on this. Very confusing.

I received my interview invite mail on 1st Nov which stated " I have been shortlisted for evaluative interview on 5th Nov in Kolkata" - I attended the interview and got completed by 5th Nov. Please note that no where in the mail it was mentioned "Early Decision category" but my interview finished on 5th Nov.

So far I have not received any mail - acceptance or rejection.

I am confused as to " whether I am a normal R1 candidate or a early decision candidate". Because in the promotional mail, it was mentioned that interview completing within 5th Nov - results will be announced by 10th.
And to add to this - No one responds at the ISB admissions department.

I agree that your case is somewhat confusing. However, I am not sure why you couldn't get a response from Admissions team. Did you try to call them or mail them? I have mailed them a few times and always got response within a day. The email I used is pgpadmissions@isb.edu

I interviewed for early decision. But didn't get any response on 10th. Got a mail from adcom today stating that my decision will be released on Dec 5. Sound like a hopeless rejection.
