It would depend on other angles of your profile incl. strength of the work-ex (i.e. which companies, career growth), GMAT/ GRE score, Extracurriculars, post-MBA goals, etc.

If your concern is just whether the 11 years is too high for ISB, it’s not.

It’s not tough, but it really comes down to key elements of your profile, such as your work experience, GMAT or GRE score, ecs, and post-MBA goals, as well as how you connect these dots and present them in a meaningful, impactful way.

hi everyone,

I used to work in a company for 3 years, then left in June end. After this, I started working on my own startup, for which I haven't really earned any money - I'm still building it. For the proof of income of self, I attached the ITR for previous year (which I got in July of this year) which stated my salary for my previous job. But my document has been rejected and I got the following message - upload self-declaration and latest ITR.

What should the self-declaration have in it?

Also, where do I upload the new document, I don't see an option to upload it?

hi everyone,

I used to work in a company for 3 years, then left in June end. After this, I started working on my own startup, for which I haven’t really earned any money - I’m still building it. For the proof of income of self, I attached the ITR for previous year (which I got in July of this year) which stated my salary for my previous job. What should the self-declaration have in it?

Also, where do I upload the new document, I don’t see an option to upload it?

Can use the company letter head, and specify that you haven’t drawn a salary for which specific months, signing it. Can send a mail to the school, addressing the comment, and attaching the self-declaration PDF. Hope this helps!

Depends on your overall profile include essay quality, GMAT score, extracurriculars and post MBA goals. 11 yrs tenure puts you in the cohort for senior leadership roles but that doesn’t really decide your admit chances on its own

You should be able to convince the adcom that you need the ISB PGP to advance your career goals. Be mindful that ISB has several MBA programs across categories of applicants- so you should make argument on why ISB would be perfect for you. The international experience can help - as you can claim to make class room discussions richer with your knowledge of a separate geography.
