If there's any resources for ISB online apart from consultants, I'd appreciate if someone could send it over. I'm open to working on essays together too

Hi, apologies in advance if this is not the appropriate forum.

I had a query regarding RCs. For me the RC scores/accuracy is fluctuating too much - sometimes get all correct for those marked as 755+ on the GMATClub, and then barely any for 655 ones

Any advice on how to stabilise this?
Also, with my GMAT in a couple of weeks, should I keep practicing only OG questions (to get in sync sort of explanations/approach that's sought in the official exam) or shall continue everything on the GMATCLUB?
I don’t think your method of assessment is prudent.

You can’t test your ability to perform in RCs in isolation like you seem to be doing.

While practicing OG RCs is the best practice, I think you should consider taking full length mock exams because *the exam pressure* does unimaginable things to the performance. Your intent should be to drive best possible score in overall GMAT than just being concerned about RC. So focus on Q+DI+V and not just RCs if you are considering taking exam in couple of weeks.

To answer your last question, GMAT Club has (almost) everything so practcing official questions on GC is a good idea only if it’s in combination with practicing full length exams.

PROFILE REVIEW PLEASE

Will be applying in R2 applications through GRE.

Age - 30yrs/M
10th - 10 CGPA
12th - 72.5% (PCMB)
Graduation – B.Sc. then a 3yr LLB – 7.50/10 CGPA
1st Masters – LLM from a Tier 2 NLU – (2nd rank) – 7.72/8 CGPA
2nd Masters in Business Law - from a Tier 1 NLU - result awaited
Additionally, I have a handful of certifications and diplomas in related fields of law such as M&A and policy.
3 years of Work ex from a Boutique law firm + heading an NGO as a chairperson for more than 5 years + having a handful of internships and Policy (non-law) work ex with elected representatives.
Published 4 research papers so far in ESG, M&A, and related fields.
Have been an elected student representative almost throughout my academic career.

Post-PGP role - interested in Consulting.

Queries -
1) Honest profile review, please.
2) What should be an ideal GRE score based on this profile?
3) How do I enhance my chances of getting into ISB?
Hi KitKat25, The good part is that you have a different profile than most others. Having law experience puts you at a different pedestal and in addition you have 5 years of NGO experience as well. So this adds value in admissions.

Consulting being your aim, the experience in law and especially certification in M&A will help as there is a lot of demand in that field.

The clarity that you may need to bring during application will be the thought process for opting MBA after two under-graduations and two masters. This along with a higher than average age will need you to explicitly detail out the career path you must be thinking and the rationale behind it.

When you cover these points at application stage, there should not be much of a worry otherwise.

GRE score requirement will be 325+

Best Wishes.

Practice streak technique.
That may help

Filter a particular level and practice 20 ques in one length till you make it to all 10 or 15 correct in one go
Then move to higher level

"Practice till you make it wrong, not till you make it right"
