Hi Adil

i think everything in your profile is decent. Several things are great such as experience of EPC, Gold medal, diversity of experience.

However I am not very enthusiastic about your goals or precisely the explanation behind them at the moment.

With current score ISB, Oxford, SAID and HEC are good to go for but a better score might significantly help for LBS and INSEAD specifically.

Should you need to discuss it more in detail then reach me on DM

Professional Experience

I worked as a Process Engineer with a leading US-based EPC company, contributing to large-scale energy transition projects, including LNG, LNG regasification, and gas-to-gasoline facilities. I completed 5 years of full-time work experience in October 2025.

Following this, I joined my family’s Chartered Accountancy firm and expect to have approximately 2 years of additional experience by MBA matriculation. Concurrently, I am exploring opportunities to build a chemical trading business.
Experience in core Chemical engineering to a transition into family’s Chartered Accountancy firm? That does not come across as a seamless transition Aadilshaikh.

My primary focus during this period was to get a chemical trading business off the ground. However, due to ongoing constraints in international logistics, the venture could not progress as planned. That said, the outlook is now much more positive, and I expect meaningful progress in the coming months.

At the same time, I have been supporting my father in expanding and strengthening his client base. I may not have conveyed this aspect clearly in my earlier message, as I was trying to keep that section of my profile concise.

That said, thank you for highlighting this point and for your valuable feedback.

Your entire pitch needs to be thought thru; you are already in entrepreneurship and then you say that entrepreneurship is your long term goal:?.

Hi Nithin
Your current gmat score of 635 while doesn’t oust you from the competition, doesn’t give enough confidence to say that you are in comfortable position because you are Engineer, wil just 3 years of experience in PSU which may not have given you a lot of diversity even in experience (please forgive me for guessing but I am just speaking a usual scenario)

I think M7 would be very ambitious choice to apply with current score and even 675 while would add to comfort wouldn’t be able to add much value to your candidate unless you have some extra ordinary experiences and stories to share with admissions committee.

However, it’s important that you take one step at a time and look forward to making a jump from 635 to 675 or more and also consult about your goals and your convincing pitch to justify why MBA and why now.

Let me know if you need help with that. DM
