Your message almost gave me goosebumps! I forgot that early action is only for one-year applicants.

All the best ...... this is gonna be a long wait! :-D

Transcript of the Sept 12 Cornell Adcom Chat.

"Essays are an important piece to the application and the piece you have most control over. They may require you to really think about why you’re pursuing an MBA and your career goals. Doing some homework on the program and ways in which you can contribute to the community can be helpful. Also, talk to current students and alums to make sure you have a good idea of the culture and have identified the program as a good fit for you." - Chelsea Hann, Associate Admission Director.

How was the interview like? Please share your experiences!

Interview was good for the most part but certainly enjoyable meeting Andrea and Joy. It was held at Cornell's admissions location in NYC and was about 45 minutes in length. Basic run through was we talked about my history, experience, why I was interested in a MBA, and other questions that would help the admissions group understand how I would fit with their overall curriculum at Cornell. Wont get into specifics but I think if you review what you want to do with an MBA and how it fits into their program, especially what you can contribute, you will do fine. I did enjoy the visit!

The only downside was that the room was quite hot or maybe it was the fact I was over caffienated.

Hey everyone! Just want to quickly check if there's any stats of whats the average GMAT requirement for Indians applying to Cornell? I know Indians generally have a higher threshold and wanted to weigh my chances.

Not specific to Indians, the following stats are from the official Johnson website:

GMAT (average): 699
GMAT Range (middle 80%): 650-740

I hope that helps!

Hello folks

Got a mail from Adcom today to schedule an interview for the next round (1 Year Johnson MBA. :)
Now the link mentioned to schedule the interview has dates ranging from current to even Mid Nov'18.

How much is the flex in scheduling the interview then with the Admissions team ? Quite confused as to which date should I opt for now ..

Regards
