Exception here. The change for me was on 12/01, 12/09 and then just now 12/11...

I am a JD-MBA applicant though - not sure if that makes a difference...
Same here, but I'm a regular 2Y applicant: Mine first changed on 12/4, got stucked on the weekend when you all saw changes, changed again on 12/09 and now to 12/11...
I can only think the groups must mean more than just accepted/rejected... probably something to do with interview dates, location... who knows??

It's still nice to have all the speculation to pass the time on this last days anyway :)!
If they are looking into the application I would think they are interested in your profile. Mine hasn't changed since 11/11. That tells me that they have made up their mind.

A part of me thinks this as well. Another part can't believe that with only 1 week left before the deadline, they are still making decisions.

Looks like we are in the minority with no date change since early November.

Don't overthink that! Mine JUST changed today, before that it was mid/late October. They will give you another look, I bet.

I agree with this for the most part, it clearly has something to do with groups instead of individuals - based on what I've gathered here:

a) Once the date changes to December for the first time, it updates every day after that, so for me it's changed 12/7 through 12/11.
b) After the initial date change, it updates every morning. If it was based on individuals, the date should change at various times through the day

So just to stir the pot, has anyone had a December date change that has not updated through 12/11 at this point?

If that happened, I will be shocked. My theory will be disproven!!! Anyone with a date change since 12/7 should have one every morning. You have been pooled!

Exception here. The change for me was on 12/01, 12/09 and then just now 12/11...

I am a JD-MBA applicant though - not sure if that makes a difference...
wait no 12/10 date change?
Nope...Before that it changed a bunch of times before I even interviewed (11/10). Then a couple of times after interview. Last change before 12/01 was on 11/26.

Any other JD-MBA applicants seeing similar changes?
Also a jd mba here...I had lots of oct changes then one in nov then 12/5 then 12/11.
Does this mean anything?

Still stuck at 11/23, but I interviewed 3rd week of October.

Either way, less than a week left!

Who knows :? I am doubtful we will be able to figure out what these date changes meant even after the results are out on 17th...

Also, I wonder whether the law school reviewing our apps affected the dates too...

I'm starting to think we're done, or waitlisted at this point. I also interviewed mid October.

On another note, how in the world did you find the time to apply to so many schools!?

I got the info from this website: https://www.kellogg.northwestern.edu/jdmba/faq.htm

"Do I need to apply to both schools?
The JD-MBA program is highly integrated and the admissions process reflects this; candidates send just one application through Kellogg. While this application uses a format similar to the Kellogg School’s and is sent to the Kellogg admissions office, members of admissions committees at both schools review each application."

I haven't checked with any ad com member though...

I sure hope not, but I am definitely not holding my breathe. I'll apply some shotty logic instead - we are in the minority with our Nov dates, but with a 22% acceptance rate, don't we want to be in the minority?

Not sure why I applied to so many schools to be honest, will likely reapply next year if I get a ding from NW and MIT.

All the speculation definitely makes for a great OB case study!

I am more interested in knowing if any waived candidates have received invites yet. I haven't seen anyone saying so yet.

Also, does anyone know the format of post-waiver interviews? Do you expect it to be a full-fledged interview, or just a quick chat?

Given that we're now <1 week from the decision deadline, I don't expect to see anyone with waivers getting interview invites for this round. As a waiver applicant, it would be a pleasant surprise, but I just don't see how it could feasibly happen with so little time left.

If you haven't applied yet, I would not risk getting a waiver and instead pick a zip code that is in a large city you can travel to. Or just go to Evanston for the interview.

So this year they probably gave an early sign to those whom they wanted to ding by waiving their interviews. With a week left, I can only see a miracle getting anyone in the waived list accepted.

It's looks like this indeed was the case this year. It's obviously up to Kellogg and the admissions team how they want to tackle applications, but doing it this way does make the promise that the "waiver will in no way negatively impact your candidacy" seem pretty hollow and misleading.
