I haven't yet heard back from Kellogg on my application post receiving an interview waiver.

The website states that all interviews must be completed by November 21st and that really makes me nervous!

Did anybody who got a waiver earlier received an interview call yet?

Hello, I received an invite for a Skype interview with the AdCom, after a waiver. Received the invitation on 10th Nov, 2:48 am IST. So, I think invites are on their way. All the best

Anyone else received call post waiver? Are the calls sent in batch or there won't be anymore calls for this round?

With just 9 days left, I am wondering how only a handful of invites went out post waiver..
if that is the case, it does solidify the assumption that initial calls were definitely made based on some strategy or the reporting at GC is low.

It said on the website that interviews would be completed by 21st November. It is 12th November today. Hence 9 days left.

Thanks.

On a side note, for those who have interviewed, how do we verify the person submitted a report? Nothing on my status page changed, and I can totally see my guy forgetting...

There is no way you would know as the interview email specifically mentioned that the applicant need not inform the admissions that an interview took place. If you are that eager, email the adcoms and ask them the status of your feedback.

Kellogg mentions the final day by when you should schedule your interview, http://www.kellogg.northwestern.edu/pro ... lines.aspx

Deadline for all interviews to be completed for R1 applicants is 21st Nov, 2015.

Certainly not that eager. Will roll the dice at this point, thanks.

Another way is to mail your interviewer (if you think he will not consider your email a bit out of the ordinary or if you got a feeling that your interviewer will be fine with such an email) and ask him/her about the feedback.

Just out of curiosity:
Is the acceptance rate after interview of Kellogg applicants from India higher seeing that Kellogg only interviews a handful?

I don't think that's the case. Take this hypothetical example:
India: Applicants = 70, Invited for Interview = 50, Waiver = 20, Accepted = 17,
China: Applicants = 50, Invited for Interview = 50, Waiver = 0, Accepted = 17
East Africa: Applicants = 25, Invited for Interview = 25, Waiver = 0, Accepted = 17

Anything is possible, i don't believe anyone can guesstimate their way out to figure out this whole process!

I have a GMAT score of 690 (Q51/V30) and 4.5 yrs of work experience in product development. One Kellogg Alumni is writing a referral letter (not recommendation, as we haven't worked together) for me.
I am applying for R2 admissions.

How much weight the referral letter add to the application?

Very difficult to judge the relative importance/benefit of the referral letter. You can definitely add it as an additional document but thats all. HOw much will the adcoms weigh that letter is entirely upto them. But there is no harm in submitting that letter. But beware that the letter should not be talking about the same things, quoting the same examples etc that you have either mentioned in your essays or your recommenders are talking about. Only submit it if that letter adds to your application.

OK. The letter would be a qualitative description of me. Since he knows me personally but not professionally, it wouldn't be right to talk about my work.
I hope the adcom committee takes it positively.
