Just FYI, people who got their interview waived were almost dinged all the time. So you should pray for a match for interview )

Why is it like some people have to wait for interview match and they know who’s gonna interview them and for some folks there is an option to select date and schedule interview.

Some have interviews with alumni and some with Adcom. For those who have interviews with alumni, they need email the assigned interviewers to schedule the interviews, so they know who’s gonna interview them in advance.
