Congrats to all the recent admits! (Especially you ankurgupta03. We suffered through last year's admissions here on GMAT Club and I'm glad you've found a home at UNC!)

R3 applicants: Don't worry if you haven't received an interview invite yet. As of last week, they had sent out very few, and will really start digging into applications this week and next. Lots more invitations should be coming in the next few weeks.

I apologize for being AWOL the past two months. Things have gotten very busy around here. Going to try and check in more often now.

Question to admitted guys: Does KF releases admit decisions on rolling over basis or strictly on or just before the decision deadline?
I had an interview two weeks ago but the decision deadline is still more than one month from now.
Can I ask them to release the decision earlier?

As many students apply to multiple schools and require a early decision for multiple occasions, I think the admission office would get many e-mails regarding that topic.
I don't think it will hurt to ask for an early decision as I have seen several students recieve early decisions in the past. 8-)

They will NOT give you decisions on a rolling basis, but only on D day.

They called a lot of people, but not all, the weekend before the release date. I know it's a long time to wait. I had almost 2 months between my interview and the phone call. Hang on. It'll pass before you know it.

I got waitlisted for R2 and have my interview in 3 weeks. Does anyone know if it's a good thing to send updates or supplemental LORs in the meantime to strengthen my candidacy? What is KF's take on waitlisted candidates? Conversion rates/past records anything will be helpful.

If you've submitted on 20th Jan won't you be considered for Round 4, since the deadline for Round 3 was Jan 15th. Accordingly your timeline will be according to that for Round 4.
