Folks,

Have submitted the application as part of R1 for LBS. Any idea on whether interview invite is sent out only on 14th October or is it between now and then?

Also how does the video interview fit into the process?

You will have to reach out to them and ask for this

I’m guessing they should be able to provide you a grace period of 2-3 days, if everything else has been submitted

At one of the online MBA sessions they said they have up to a week after submission deadline but you can can call admissions office on Monday to confirm

NeelPattni1, I think they will first send out a video interview and post that after taking everything into consideration, they will invite to interview.

SJ1010, dont worry, they are not gonna see the apps until Monday and even then iif any part of your app is missing they would email you to get it ASAP. So that gives you a cool 2-3 days window man...

I wrote to the school, the video interview will be for candidates shortlisted for an interview.

Hey, guys. Applying for the LBS MiM Round 1. A small doubt. How does the referral work? Do I enter the details and have him/her fill the form before I submit the application or after? And do they need to fill it before the deadline?

Hey everyone, any idea on the policy that LBS has for improved GMAT scores post application deadline, If you get an improved score say 1 month post the deadline and the decision has not yet been given, what is the probability that they might consider the new one, also if we do get the admit will the new GMAT score help in negotiating for scholarships

Once interview invites are out, there is a 4 week period where you are expected to schedule an interview with the Alum, along with the video interview upload as well. Process described in the below link:

Hi catechol,

there is really no such policy. If your application has been discarded purely based on your GMAT score and your improved score comes before interview invitations are released (e.g. a week before), there is a chance they might reconsider your application. How high is this chance? No one can really tell.

As for scholarships, usually, they are not negotiable, but a higher GMAT score makes you a stronger candidate for merit-based scholarships.

am0804, There is nothing bad or good.. It depends on your overall application man.. You might have achieved in 4 years what others take 6 years to achieve.. So dont worry man.. If you feel you are ready just go ahead and apply.. Dont take too much advise from a lot of people...

am0804, I agree with themagician. The average work experience at LBS is around 5.5 years and they even accept candidates with less than 3 (on exceptional cases). So 4 years of work experience is fine.

If you check the profiles of students and alumni here (https://www.london.edu/masters-degrees/ ... =relevancy), you'll see that some of them had around 4 years of work experience at the time of the start of the program.
