Approx 60 pc in scholarship from the school.
The best part was the email which mentions that the school understands the effort that goes into submitting a decent application.

Hard luck. I was WLed at Cornell last year. Visited the school but couldn't convert.

Though chances of conversion at McDonough should be decent.

Hope you have a back-up plan as well.

I have open applications to other schools as well. But given my profile/score/exp, McD was probably my best bet. Really wanted that one. That's why it stings more !!!
As of now cant do anything but just wait wait & wait

Received a Merit Scholarship, wow. Top choice was Booth (accepted, but no scholarship), but can't ignore the scholarship offer...decisions, decisions.

Anyone here tied up between Kelley and McDonough?
International applicant from India with background in Banking technology.

I have a better scholarship award from Kelley but I believe McDonough is better in placing grads within Consulting and Financial Services sector. My plan A is Consulting for FS and plan B is seeking opportunity within Internal strategy division of a FS firm. I am also on the other side of the age of 30 - a factor that could affect my likeability for recruitment at Consulting firms.

However Kelley seems to do a better job of placing International candidates. Also I haven't received any crisp answers on the Consulting firms open to hire International students at McDonough on-campus.
The higher cost of living at DC is another factor to consider.
However proximity to NY probably makes up for the higher cost of living.

Please PM me if someone is in similar situation. Comments welcome from fellow admits and applicants.

Considered both schools and ultimately chose gtown. High-level answer, both are great options but gtown opens a few more doors to some of the elite IB/consulting gigs. A lot to love about IU but after visiting both schools it was clear that georgetown has the stronger brand and national pull. Honestly, MSB may be one of the most underrated programs in the top 25 - stats and placement definitely punch above it's weight and if funding wasn't limited the rankings would reflect the true picture. Regardless, good problem to have and certainly feel free to PM me if you want specifics.

A little late for my own purposes but I thought I'd share the below article. Think it's an interesting look into how MSB is trying to understand and improve the applicant experience.

I'll also throw in that Round 1 applications were up 41% (I'm not biased or anthing I swear!) !

Anyone who has been waitlisted ?

I uploaded an additional essay and pressed the 'save' button.

That's all we gotta do right? There was no 'submit' button.. Any clue, anyone ?
