Anyone who’s written the Dean’s scholarship essay guys? My bad..wrong chat

Hi anyone on the group has to provide a WES verification of your UG statement of marks etc? If yes, would it make a difference if it is submitted after the deadline? The adcom has not reverted yet.

They need only unofficial transcript while applying. WES verification may be needed once you get an admit if I’m not wrong.

If you think that the normal process will actually yield maximum returns for scholarship, may not be the best idea. There are different gaps they don’t tell you about. Be smart about the negotiations - it’s basically a >$20k (average) difference. Happy to help Never settle for less. The only rule you should follow

Normal process got me $25k more a year

The difference between adopting smart approach and just using the portal I meant. But you could have had more. Portal will give you an increase, I’m not denying that but why would you leave 20k more on the table and accept a lower amount? If you’re worth 50k and you settle for $25k, you’re leaving that for someone who will negotiate higher. One thing I’ve learnt in business schools- if you’re not gonna be strategic about maximizing your value in a negotiation, you’ll cost yourself more. You guys have it in your hands actually, it’s really a matter of using that right.

There’s enough money in business schools for everyone. Help each other out too. Yes, funds are allocated for scholarship during budgeting based on previous years but... Just as the shoe salesmen used to do in the 90s, there’s probably some in the back that might suddenly appear. (Contingency funds)
