lol i need people like you.... but on a serious note do i need to contact the admissions committee and ask them in which area they found my application to be lacking and may be improve upon that? i think my low gpa may have been an issue so i can probably quickly pursue some certifications and online courses and send them the transcripts of those and may be also mention some other areas which I had not mentioned in my earlier application to make them aware about the ways in which I'll contribute to the incoming class

I think so. The only difference might be the amount. Usually later rounds proviee less scholarships.
