When I scheduled an hour ago, some slots were there but were getting over very quickly.

While booking, I lost my first two picks and had to settle for my 3rd option.

I can't see any slots for India, would it be best to pick another region in Asia or wait for them to 'open up more slots over the weekend' as they've said?

Someone on reddit mentioned that they had mailed the adcom about it.

And the all invites have been sent, on the decision date, people will either hear a WL or a rejection (of those who have not been invited)

You can wait for more slots to open up, if they have indicated that additional interview slots will be available over the weekend. However, if you’re concerned about timing or availability, you could consider selecting another region in Asia as an alternative, just to ensure you don’t miss your opportunity if slots in India remain limited. Good luck!

Maybe others can confirm, but in my experience - if you choose a particular region, the person you interview with is also from that region. So, choose wisely.

Yeah, I have this doubt too! The response has not been standardised! Leaving room for a lot of doubts. However, I think aKL invites have officially been rolled out for R2.

Honestly, it is not clear why some people have received the completion mail and some haven’t! It will be interesting to know if only those who got the completion mail ended up getting the invites!

Yesterday also there was an applicant who did not get the application complete email, but got an interview invite. So, looking at such cases, cannot say much about it! Best wishes to everyone...
