Hi everyone, and welcome!

This group is your space for Michigan Ross application journey — essays, interviews, deadlines, scholarships, the doubts that hit at 1am, all of it.

The best version of this group is one that runs on all of us. If you see a question you can answer, jump in — chances are someone else is wondering the same thing, and the person who's a week ahead of you is often the most useful person to hear from. Share what's working, the resources you've found, the lessons you've picked up. The more we trade notes, the stronger everyone's applications get.

I check in each day, so I won't catch every message the second it lands — but nothing gets lost, and that's exactly why a group like this beats going it alone.

To kick us off: drop a quick intro — your name, the round you're targeting, and where you are right now (just starting out, deep in essays, prepping for interviews). It's the fastest way to find people who are a step ahead of you.

Glad to have you here. Let's get into it.

Hi Souravi,

Thank you for coordinating this.

My name is AbdulRoheem, I am writing from Lagos, Nigeria. My goal (and what I am working towards) is a R1. But keeping in mind work deliverables and the fact that I’m just starting out, I now wonder if I may have to defer to a R2.

I am also yet to take the GMAT. Has anyone taken the GMAT here?

Hi yes i have taken GMAT

All the best Abdul 👍👍

Hi, i suggest do one thing at a time, first cater GMAT and then move to the applications, also you can reach out to consultants and check if any work is required for profile. You can carry that while prepping for GMAT

Hi WA@arv7420, If you can score in the range of class profile on GMAT/GRE, it could be an advantage to do that. But if not, the EA is certainly a valid option. There are several FT programs that accept EA, and if this is the best way to showcase your abilities, use that option!
