Stupidity Alert: I might be reading too much between the lines and hence this might be a stupid question. :-D

In the NUS application, under the payment tab, I can see a payment type "Acceptance" of S$5000. Although my status still says "Interview" :P
Also, the deadline space is empty as of now.
I am not sure if this option was visible previously also.

Can any one else comment on this. What can this possibly be?
Also, If by chance you remember that the option was available previously also?

mihirzinzu can you please check in you application page and tell if you also see this.
If yes, then it is a random thing, if not, then it might mean something.

All those who got offers previously, did you see something of this sort?

Ankur, yea I noticed this after I got the admit mail. So i guess some good news might be just around the corner. Although the status is still not paid even though i have accepted the offer. I am not sure when this tab appeared on the page.

I see it too!

I think there was an application fees payment thing there. Not sure if the acceptance part was there since the beginning or not.

I have a blurry and the vague memory of not seeing it there.

As it would have been a very strange thing to see the acceptance payment at the time of application. :P
Lets hope for the best!
All the best :)

Thanks

Just noticed this line also "Online payment is applicable only for application which offer is made"
This better mean something :P

I do not have a scholarship and that is making it difficult for me to join Tepper.
The expenditure is humongous :-P

That was my main concern about Tepper too (although they made the decision easier for me eventually). They are inflexible with their loan options too if I remember correctly? But still, great school. I can imagine how difficult the decision would be. Did you try asking for some scholarship?

Yes, I mailed them about my concerns, but yet to receive a reply. It has been close to a month now :P
They do not provide co signer loans, hence it is difficult to arrange for the finances :(
What about your Sloan thingy?

Sloan will happen today. Let's see. Not being very optimistic about it anyway. Will be joining Emory 99%. So if not Tepper, what alternative schools are you considering?
