I applied R2 and my application status still says "Submitted". Submitted 11/15 and received interview invitation on 1/11. Interviewing on 2/4. Hope that helps!

So I submitted my app R2 on 11/15....my video was viewed sometime in 2nd week of December, then no news so far. I'm not sure whether that's positive or negative, but I'm leaning toward the latter.....this wait is killing me.

For those of you who received interview invitations - how long did it take to receive an invite after your video was viewed? I'd really appreciate any inputs on this.

To be honest, I don't think Stern has even viewed my video yet. My video is link-only (as I'm sure most of ours are), and all of my views are from my family with the exception of two views from California, which are completely inexplicable unless an adcom was on a business trip or something like that.

Exactly same experience here.. Submitted on 11/15.. Video was viewed on 12/15. Complete silence since!!!

Besides final admission decisions, It has been awfully quiet this week... Hopefully they get some interview invitations out today.

I wouldn't read too much into the timeline. Stern admissions looked at my recommender's LinkedIn profile about a week after I submitted my app, and then again a month after I submitted my app, but I didn't get the interview invite until about another 3 weeks later, so almost 2 months after. Hang in there! It doesn't mean it's a bad sign, they might just do several rounds of review.

I'm in too today. Got an email this morning saying status update. Logged in application webpage and click the link to see the admission. Yay! Very excited but no money offered though.

Background: Public Accounting 5 yrs work upon matriculation + prior 4 yrs lab scientific research experience (so, I'm half accountant + half "nano-scientist")

heyjude07, I am sorry to hear about your WL, unfortunately Stern's WL to admit is low as per https://www.mbadataguru.com/blog/admissi ... rate-rank/

But then again it is NOT 0. So you have a small chance of converting your WL into an admit.

I spoke to a friend at Stern, and supposedly last year, she got her interview invite in Feb week 1. However, that year R2 was in Jan I guess.

The Stern AdCom travels across various countries in March for all the interviews. Is that the reason for no status update?
