Question....so I already submitted my app and GMAT has a red X next to it but I'm pretty sure the app stated that self reported scores were good enough for initial review and you don't need to provide official scores until acceptance right?

Based on what I've read in the past two years threads it doesn't look like invites start rolling out until like mid November and then it goes all the way into December until pretty much their notification deadline.

Sooo...we've still got a long wait ahead of us probably.

I met with Oren Margolis, the admissions director at the Stern admissions event in Mumbai last week and he said that interview invites for R1 will most likely start rolling out by the 1st-2nd week of November.

I also got my invite today. (I submitted about 2 weeks before the deadline). But when I try to schedule my interview, it looks like only a few days in November are available (and nothing at all in December). Is anyone else having this problem? It cannot be possible that they don't have dates available in December...

Yep, I'm only seeing Tues-Thurs options in Nov. My guess is they'll be released on a rolling basis.

Did you two get email invites or just check your portal?

I have the same question! Applied on 10/15 from Shanghai, received interview invite on 10/31, and can either fly to NY next week to interview or wait until the Spotlight on Stern Women event. Does anyone have any insight? Flying on such short notice would be so tricky, but I'd try to do it if my odds were that much better...

I got my invite a few hours ago as well (applied late evening on 10/14).

I did get that invite to the women's day in February, but I don't think I'm going to wait for it. I'm early action at Tuck, and I'd like to make sure I know all of my options in December-- not wait until February. I'm flying from the west coast. It's not fun, but international would be a lot worse...

FYI-- the interview slots are booking FAST. They clearly have either been doing rolling invites (which I think we would have heard about), or they are only opening interview slots in batches. When I checked when I first got my email, there were multiple options each day. I just checked now, and there is only one option for the day I want.

Thanks for your input and good luck with both your Stern interview and Tuck!

Just refreshed the page and saw that there is only one slot left for an interview two days from now. It'd be pretty much impossible for me to get across the world in 2 days so I guess I'll have to do the February 2nd event.
