I always wonder how to do to strengthen application with GMAT waiver...I confuse and see it as a weak point. How to strengthen an application compare to others applicants who have a competitive GMAT?
How?
If we ignore the scholarship aspects ( which i am not entirely sure about - probably might play a role for Indian engineer male )
The only purpose GMAT serves is to showcase your Quantitative ability and critical reasoning.
If someone is doing that day in and day out at their respective job, it’s totally fine to skip the GMAT, it will in no way weaken your application.
One should keep this in mind and do their own analysis because only we are best judge of ourselves.
PS: on the flip side i will also like to contradict myself by saying that if one is that good at Quants and critical reasoning he/she should just go ahead and take the gmat
PS 2: i will once again contradict my earlier statement by saying one might be excellent at all this skills and might not have the time to prepare for GMAT because of schedule or might be struggling due to many reasons and if you can convince the ad com the same once again i dont see no harm in it.
This arguments can keep going back and forth but stop limiting yourself,
we should not limit thinking out of the box only for gmat exam but rather also use it in day to day life for both personal and professional purposes which also includes MBA applications .
