I'm leaning towards NYU because of the city, its domestic, and job placement afterward. I have a 6-year-old dog that I wouldn't be able to bring to Tsinghua that's important to me.

I think Tsinghua is an incredible opportunity especially if you want to get involved in politics regarding trade and supply chain. Both of my parents did their doctorates there and many of their friends are in the CCP but I think it could also help you secure a job in the USTR.

Does anyone know if the status once you have submitted is always "Your application is complete and currently under review with the Admissions Committee." or does that mean they could be reviewing and back with an answer soon?
