I interviewed last night. It was pretty similar to ubranjmf. I was asked to give my 60 second hypothetical "why should we hire you" pitch. I had some other questions as well but nothing out of the ordinary. One question was about something I worked on that had a negative outcome. I was also asked how I managed conflict with colleagues and co-workers.

Bottom line, it was pretty much what I expected from an Owen interview - cordial, straightforward and brief (35 minutes or so).

Good luck to everybody interviewing.

Hey thanks for sharing your experience with us. Very helpful. If you don't mind me asking, when did you submit your application? I submitted at like 11:30 PM on the day of the deadline, but haven't heard back anything yet.

Thank you for sharing your interview experience. I have added it to the interview debriefs section.

Everyone,

Did Owen specify any date for the final decisions or they will release on a rolling basis?

FYI, from the previous posts, I see that vidushimba has submitted the application around Jan 10th and has an interview invite.

I submitted my application on 12/18 and received the interview request on 1/4. I was not expecting rolling interview request or rolling admissions but obviously, they're at least doing rolling interviews. I may check with the admissions group and see if they will let us know prior to the decision deadline.

Ah ok. Thanks for letting me know. Looks like Vanderbilt is wasting no time in interviewing candidates, which is refreshing.

Awesome. Thanks for getting back to me. Yes please, if you do find out about the admissions decision prior to decision deadline, please share it with us here. It would be greatly appreciated. My best wishes to you!

Agree. It always keeps the applicants engaged in the application process rather than waiting for a month to find out :)

Just got in the interview invite. Application was submitted on the day of the deadline, and letter of rec was submitted today.

Did anyone get the application fee automatically waived? It had me panicking because I thought my application was incomplete.

Congrats. Yeah my application fee was waived. When were your official GRE/GMAT score received by the school? I haven’t heard back anything yet and I submitted like 10 minutes before the deadline.

Just got an email saying that my application was complete (with the completion of the interview). It also stated "We will communicate your decision on the published decision date." so we will find out on March 26th.

There is someone on clear admit who says they got an admit call today for a round 2 application. Is there any circumstance where this could be true? The decision deadline is at the end of March, so I was curious about that.

During the Discover Vanderbilt event which took place last weekend, one of the members of the AdCom said that they will disclose results on March 26th. He said that they have tried to disclose them earlier but it has always been a mess, so this time they will stick to March 26th as the reveal day.

Is there anyone that has applied for R2 but yet to be interviewed. I do not have interview invite as as this moment and I applied on R2 deadline. My GRE was summitted on 20th January 2021 (The school's deadline for outstanding documents was 25th).

Should I still be hopeful since interview invites are sent on rolling basis.

I see you have an interview invite from Owen. Can you tell us when did you submit your application? That will help answer SakaMartinelli's question :)
