Application portal page, right side, in the post offer section "Join the https://gmatclub.com/chat group"

Thanks a ton!! Found it.
Np mate, congrats on your admit. As per scholarship, I guess it’s been already distributed, those awarded should’ve received an update on their application portals.

Yes, but the scholarship was very specific. Did you also receive an email for the Jacobs scholarship?

Anybody who has already been accepted, what did you write about for the "Is there anything not covered in the application form that you would like the Admissions Committee to know about you?" essay?

It's hard to find something that is not repetitive but also meaningful.

All mini-essay questions are future oriented. Current role, post-MBA goal, research about industry, how you meet requirements etc. "Is there anything not covered in the application form that you would like the Admissions Committee to know about you?" question is the only question where you can reflect on your past, your story, how you identified the need for MBA, aspirations.

That makes sense. FSpartan, can I ask one more question? One of my post-MBA goals questions has an answer with 1000 words. My goal is entrepreneurship so I took the no word limit to liberally explain my business plan. Would that be a problem?

It's hard to answer your question, for me 1000 words looks too much, you don't want anything that dilutes your message. On other hand entrepreneurship goal is a slippery slope and you might need 1000 words to set your record straight. Admissions want to see - 1. That MBA is a bridge between your past and imperative to your future goals (so ideally your essay has to elaborate why you can't start up your business without MBA from Said, if you could then you'd need to rethink) 2. That your goal is achievable, they will assess your judgement and business idea. Certainty and clarity is the key, be specific answer unasked question why you can't reach your goals without MBA and that would be enough imo.

Can someone tell what questions they got for the online assessment? For motivation, competency, and written? I am looking at the prep time and not sure how to put together an answer so fast, especially for the written. So I thought having an idea of the type of questions would help.

You might wanna join the class thread where your posts can be answered by both students and Alumni (increases your reach).

https://gmatclub.com/forum/calling-all- ... l#p2362561

The above will give you a good overview.

Regarding your question, I have written a post on it, couldn't find it now. To answer it shortly, don't make this mistake. Oxford loves to know about you in totality. You can actually use that question to bring your creative side out. Say, maybe you have some NGO or social experience, or you care about some cause that you like to cater too and so on. It is like ...Oxford would like to know what else can you contribute to your fellow mates?

MBAPrepCoach has answered it beautifully here. "What sets you apart from other people with your profile, in a way that would be useful to your peers at SBS?"

You definitely want to write something here. It's tricky because it looks like an optional question but they are looking for you to showcase your creative side, maybe a personal strength, or and an unusual experience that defined the person you are today. Definitely don't write just no.

Thank you all for the reply.
I have now submitted my application with the additional essay.
I was able to put up a decent write up.
Now just waiting for the results.

One question though, how much weightage adcom gives to the video assessment. I dont think I did very good on it ?
