It's so quiet in here. I believe everyone is waiting patiently to hear back about the admission decision. I have a feeling R2 decisions will start rolling in anytime from next week, so the wait might be shorter than we think. The decision deadline for last year was March 29, but Rice started releasing decisions as early as March 13. I guess we might see the same pattern this year although the decision date for domestic applicants is March 6 (3 weeks earlier than last year). Fingers crossed.

I hope so! I am an international applicant so I would have to wait a bit more, but I did not even realize we are getting close to that deadline. You and I applied to similar schools. I wish you the very best! Let's hope decisions start rolling in soon.

Nothing yet as per gmatclub’s decision tracker and clearadmit livewire. . It could be that decisions will be released on March 6, the deadline day. R2 decisions used to be released from mid-March in the previous years but it looks like Jones switched things this year by have separate deadlines for domestic and international students.
The good thing is that we will have a decision latest by the end of this week.

I got to know my admissions decision on Nov 26 whereas the decision deadline was 6th December for round 1, so I believe they should be very close to releasing their decisions. Then again, they might follow a different approach for round 2.

meme2019 Great. Fingers crossed. March 6 is actually not too early. For example, I also applied to Kelly in R2 and got my decision on February 25 even though the decision deadline is March 15.
I just reached out to some other folks I met during Rice diversity weekend event last year and they are yet to hear anything too.
I hope we get the good news soon.
