deadline is the 15th of December for Round 1 results. Now if one has not even been invited for interview atleast a couple of weeks before that, it seems bleak to me. :(

It has been awfully quiet! Hope lots of Indians receive interview admits
before Rotman touches down in India!

Could you please tell me the date when Rotman reps are coming to India?

Their schedule is on their website. Just google 'admission events rotman mba' and the first link will give you their entire schedule.

But so far... No one from India has received interview invites right? From round 1

We do not know that. It is possible that an indian who does not post on this forum has received an invite.

I would say interviews have to be scheduled before the end of the month in order for Rotman to have some time to review and send results. Maybe there is a slight hope.

But I'm thinking that if they're visiting Mumbai on 26th, there are just five days to go... That's too short a notice for candidates typically, isn't it?

Thanks!! I didn’t, but I’ll try to negotiate something. Has anyone had the experience of negotiating a Scholarship with Rotman? I would appreciate if you could share how it went.

I spoke to a current student who told me she negotiated, but she had another offer from a strong program. I don't know which was the other school. I contemplated negotiating for a bigger scholarship, but since I decided earlier to limit how many schools I applied to, I didn't really have a good reason to ask for more beyond "I want more". I spoke to a consultant about this, and his suggestion was to talk about financial hardship. For me, that would have been a lie as I'd saved quite a bit

Hopefully others can chime in on whether they negotiated.

Hey Guys!!

Need some info regarding the application submissions.

Does Rotman send out an acknowledgement mail after the application has been completed? My supplemental items section shows that they are yet to receive my transcripts. Would this mean that my application will not be reviewed until they have received them??

Thanks

I did receive acknowledgment email after submission, but I heard some applicants who received interview invites did not receive an acknowledgment, so I guess as long as you hit the submit button and paid the fee, it should be fine.
As for the official documents, Rotman said they will review your application as long as you submitted scanned copy/unofficial docs, and from the previous discussions, I believe this is the case.

Hi,
I didn't receive a confirmation either. But when I checked with the AdCom they confirmed that my application has been received and would be processed normally.
So, to that extent, you've got nothing to worry about.

Thanks a lot for your help!! I have applied to other schools in the US, but I haven’t heard from them yet, so I don’t have other offers or scholarships to use in my negotiation. What I heard when I tried to negotiate was the scholarships are very competitive this year.

I plan to try at least one more time. Prodigy has only approved USD 19k for me to attend Rotman, and I’m trying to get a loan at BMO through a stand by letter, but my bank is giving me a hard time to issue the letter. If I don’t get BMO’s loan, I might not be able to attend the program if I don’t get any scholarship.
