I have been waitlisted without an interview. Can you help me understand my chances?
Thank you.

Any thoughts here guys? i just wanted to understand whether Rotman will conduct an interview for me or would i be evaluated simply based on incoming applications quality. And how do my chances look?

MB, I applied on R1 deadline date i.e Oct 15th. I had received no communication regarding any interview interim, and I just received this wait-list email yesterday. i had been following up with the adcom and they kept indicating that results will be declared prior to December 15th. Very confusing really.

Oh i get it. They had a similar candidate with slightly better profile. And they offered him/her the seat. So if that person accepts it you're SOL if not you get the seat. Or if someone with similar background is offered a seat but doesnt accept then you're the next in line. Hope it makes sense.

so its still schrodinger's box until they reach out to me I hate uncertainty.
Yeah, he mentioned something about having to accept the offer in less than a months time.
The rules for domestic candidates might be slightly different I suppose. Btw, had you applied as a domestic/international candidate?

Ya applied as domestic. Interviewed on monday, she told me expect something by end of day friday. My email is pretty generic, so i guess it is different for internationals.
I completed my application on Nov 20. No reply as of yet. Anyone who applied around that time and got an interview call? I'm an International applicant with 710 GMAT, 3.5 GPA, 60 months WE. My friend who applied on Nov 9 also hasn't gotten any reply yet.
Few of the people who applied well before the first round deadline are yet to hear. I know a few people here who have applied in late September or early October.
As an Indian applicant I assumed it'd take 1-2 months at least. But I thought I'd post it anyways to see if any exceptional profiles got an interview call much sooner.
Also, any idea what a CGPA of 7.6 (76%) in the last two semesters (National Institute of Technology) translates to? Furthermore, any idea if a post-graduate degree helps (I have an MBA from IIM Trichy). Total of 5 years work experience (2 pre MBA, 3 post MBA)
I applied to Rotman on 15th October (R1 Deadline). It has been almost 2 months since I submitted my application. Haven't heard back from them yet. Neither Reject nor Admit! Does Rotman take that long to announce results?
