After much thought I skipped as the application process looked complicated. :/

I know , there is an extra essay as well. But what worries me is the extra 4 months and the language that we need to learn. I am just not sure if this will actually help later in the job market. But i just want to be sure before i decide.

Hindi is also an option, so the language part might not be that complicated. It is the focus on a regional market point that worried and confused me.

I dont think you need to learn a language. It is essentially for those fluent in another language. I remember having asked the Adcom about it, based on Russian fluency. After the detailed discussions (dont remember the details now, sorry, was about 5 months back), I decided to stick with MBA FT. Whatever help the above may be !
I am thinking of applying here. I was just wondering can anyone help me with some details? My question is does anyone know about the time-lines of the application. Meaning, say I apply on the 4th of January, how long do they normally take to inform me of their decision (including video interview). Also MOST IMPORTANTLY how long do I have (in weeks or days) to accept an offer if made by the business school?
am writing my GMAT on Dec 29. I dont know where i will end up. This is a brief on my profile. I am 28 Yrs Old. I have about 6.5 Yrs experience in Investment Management. I have worked in India and Japan. I am a Hedge Fund Manager. I recently sold my Hedge Fund to a Japanese Firm. I am also on the board of NGO and few other companies. I have undergrad degree in business with a pretty good gpa. I obviously want to get good gmat score. In case i end up with an average or an ok score, should i still end up applying. will my profile have more weightage over gmat.

Your profile looks good enough, and will definitely stand out if it is presented well in the essays. So yes, please do apply if you get equal to or more than their average. If I were you, I'd.
Hi All, submitted video essays last week.Still no news.Is it bad?
Unlikely to hear back till end of the month, since they have R1 on 15 Jan. I had met Graham Sue twice and from what he said, they would most likely let the early birds know a little before R1, I guess. Good luck

Could you please share the interview questions if possible please? Would help the rest of us. [/quote]
Very casual. No intro, just why mba and now, why Schulich, challenging stuff at work, how you would translate skills and how you think you can contribute to the class. Really just need to be yourself.
While I don't whether this is the correct thread to initiate this topic, I'd still like to learn more from you guys.
I'd like to welcome the pros and cons of Schulich with respect to McGill. I believe both are quality business schools of Canada but these points will help us make better decisions.
I am going to apply for September Intake.690 gmat,IT Consulting, B&F Domain,8 years experience,Indian. Two quick questions 1) What is the full fees of FT MBA? 2) Do Indians require IELTS/TOEFL? All my schooling, graduation is in English.

1. Fee can be found here: https://schulich.yorku.ca/client/schulic ... enDocument 2. I think we do, as we are not an majorly English speaking country (we might very well be). Best to write to Schulich AdCom to get an official answer.
