Got admission offer from Schulich.

Timelines:

Submitted application: 25th November
Interviewed on: 2nd December
Received admission offer: 10th December.

My profile: BE in CSE ,GMAT score of 660, 4.5 yrs of exp in IT industry as of december,2016.

Hi All

I got a mail from Imran(schulich) to retake GMAT and submit the scores
I asked him how much and by when, then he said by 28FEB max and a minimum score of 650

I already have got a confirmation from DeGroote Mc Master
No scholarship mentioned

From ROI point of view what do you think?

Also got a partial acceptance from Ryerson

From what i learnt during my interview, there is no difference in curriculum & courses offered in both the campuses. However, the downtown campus would offer more networking opportunities given its location compared to the university campus.

the brand name of schulich matters! in terms of ROI i think it turns out to be same. but I guess if you go for Schulich you will have to let go mcmasters, right?
also, I am not too familiar with ryerson, but im surprised they asked you to retake gmat. Mcmasters has a better rating than ryerson.

even the adcom would tell you to go for keele campus in the main campus. majority of the classes take place there and the campus is not based on the major you want to do. in any case 1st year majority study here and you can always opt for the 2nd year classes in downtown area.

Ya true, december 23rd is the dead line to say yes or no to Mc Master
its like if i say No to Mc Master and then dont get into schulich, that will be bad

but if i say yes to Mc Master then I guess i will have to pay a deposit of 1000$
Although i have a doubt that when do i have to pay this 1000$, either 23rd DEC or 1st June

But anyway will give GMAT again to better my chances on scholarships

Hi Guys,

Yesterday i submitted my application and I have few doubts on my application

1. After submitting I did not received any mail regarding that your application is submitted.
2. Would they review the application with unofficial GMAT score.
3. How about Scholarship? Is it merit based? I didn't find any scholarship essay section
4. On the general note how soon from the date of application submission they reply for interview call?

1) I submitted on 14th nov, got a payment confirmation from schulich on my mail, nothing else.
2) I remember uploading the score report which i downloaded, but then i mentioned schulich during my university selection in Gmat exam. They do say that upon selection, u wud need to submit official documents, which include transcripts and all.
Not very sure on this

3) Scholarship, u need to fill a separate form, its there some where on the website and yes it is merit based. mostly like Gmat score based.

4) I got the interview call on 21st November, so 7 days
