Hey Guys, just completed 6 years in sports and event management. GMAT was alright, was doing rather well in my mocks, on test day somehow did not hit the magical 700 mark (got a 680).
Looking at Rotman, Schulich/Schulich India (Sep 17) and Queen's (Jan 18).
I know this is a done to death question, but really can anyone tell me what makes Rotman better than Schulich? If they are getting the same employers and Schulich is 10K cheaper and a shorter duration program, than why Rotman? I could not find this in the above posts.
Queen's I have heard is great for consulting with great salaries but the class size is small, making it even more competitive. Never gets easy for us, haha.
I spoke to the alumni of Schulich India, Schulich Toronto and Rotman and all had good things to say which made me wonder even more. All of them also said the job market is quite tough, Canada is just not growing fast enough. Rotman guy said Schulich is better on your pockets as the $$ you earn after the MBA are almost the same. Schulich Toronto guy says India is even better on the pocket and you get a bit of special treatment cause the school is craving to make the program a bigger success and the India guys when they move to Toronto take some time to adjust and network, but find the same roles while save about 20K in tuition and living. The flipside is year 1 in India has all Indians only.
Thoughts??
