Nice, congratulations and you are lucky not to wait whole month!
At least they have started rolling things out.

It's actually the most cruel process I have ever seen. Waiting everyday for a month this invitation. At least would incorporate some geographical or industry structure and split the dates.

You must not be applying to Yale where interview invites start the day after submission and go through the final decision day. The lack of transparency is very frustrating.

Folks, it's a good time to pursue things that we placed on hold while preparing the application.

Once the mail arrives (good or bad), we will get busy with our next steps of action. Please don't stress out yourself waiting everyday for it, nothing much can be done. Spend quality time with family, go hiking, meet friends or pursue that one awesome thing you placed on to-do for so long :D

Let us live life and not let the process affect our fun \m/

Best Wishes,

I kind of disagree actually, I find it way smoother than the violent "Yes/No" answer at a certain time. It plays with human optimism, assuming that we will find space in the "it can come tomorrow" to confidently breathe, and the realization of the release for those who will get release is smoother. And statistically, the majority of the invites is sent at the end :).

Well, not so sure, Stanford is very exciting, but I felt that their interview is not the most intense one, if I got it right, they had the habit not to interview people, but decide to change that in order to involve alumni post graduation :)

Interviews should be an integral part of the process at every school. Stanford certainly has the resources to have admissions officers interview the candidates (considering it interviews far fewer candidates). The alums that interview are pretty serious about interviewing (having been one for many years) and interview 3-7 candidates per year. In addition to the warm-and-fuzzy comments, the expertise from being matched with someone in the same industry can be helpful to the committee (and the candidate).
