There is a huge tension in the air I believe for all of us. Just a month to go and the new wave of invites has not yet released! Is this a signal to DING???

I sent in updated GMAT scores and got an email back saying they will hold on to my application a little longer. To me that meant they are still evaluating the applications, so more invites should be coming at some point.
Not sure if the "hold on to it" is a good thing or bad thing for me personally, but at least it is a sign that the evaluation process is still underway
Had my interview this week. My interview lasted 1 hour. Is that a bad sign ? My friend told me - it means they weren't satisfied in first 30 mins, so thats why it went beyond time limit.
My interviewer was very friendly and it was more of a discussion. I am a little more experienced, so I had a lot many personal examples that took time I guess.

Was your interview comprised of behavioral questions for the whole 1 hour or did you have Q&A time? Mine lasted about 45 minutes and last 10 minutes or so was Q&A with some small talk. I was the last one to be interviewed for the day so he was fine with me going on and on about the questions I had about Tepper. Maybe you were the last interviewee for that particular day?

I wouldn't worry about it. They say interviews are scheduled to be 30 minutes long, but they really allow for an hour. You probably just had a lot to say. Was there anything that caught you off guard?

Do not listen to your friend. There could be many reasons why it lasted that long. I would not worry.
1. Length of interview: I do not think that your 1 hour interview is necessarily a bad sign. If you did not notice, the Tepper admissions staff is incredibly friendly. My interview last year exceeded the 30 min time slot as well, if I recall and it worked out in my favor.
2. No invite for interview yet: While they are probably getting close to the end, I did not receive a R1 interview invitation until about this time last year - and again, here I am. I would not sweat it at this time (easier said than done, I know)
Is there any chance of getting the result before 18th December?

I think the decision date is actually December 15th, not the 18th. (So to answer your question, there is actually a 100% chance of hearing before the 18th )
To get at what you're really asking though, from what I can tell decisions will probably be given on the afternoon of the 15th. I've not heard of any circumstance that would allow you to find out any earlier than that, but I suppose it could be possible.
I am a prospective Indian R2 applicant to Tepper School of Business..While going through the admission requirements I noticed that Tepper does allow for a TOEFL waiver if your undergraduate education is in English..However your academic documents must mention this fact..In case they don't you need to submit a letter from the university registrar for the same..Just wanted to ask did any fellow Indian applicants faced the same issue in R1..Can we get a letter from the college authorities instead of the university registrar and then do we need to send the physical copy of the letter to Tepper or a scanned version would do?

I had taken the letter from my university highlighting that the english language was used as a medium of instruction. I had uploaded the scan of the document in the space provided. I am presuming it worked as they did not come back to me on this.

From my experience of knowing others in similar situations, Tepper is pretty understanding of this. Still, the best way I'd suggest is to put a query in to the AdCom to find the right way to go about it.

Thanks for your inputs. Little anxious to get the results at the earliest. Aren't we all. I am in a scenario where I am banking on a tepper admit or my life might head out in a different tangent all together. I was asking because many schools start giving out admits in batches and some declare result on a stipulated date only. Anywhich ways have no option but to wait..

Trust me. There's no point worrying about it. I also see that you have a lot of excellent schools you've applied to apart from Tepper. Why sounding like this is your last shot?
