How is everyone doing? Anyone else very anxious about next Tuesday? Also, are decisions e-mailed or should I check the website for my application status? I wonder what time decisions are released...

Last year, it seemed that they were released at 5 PM EST on the website. It also looked like everyone received an email about the update, but not exactly at 5 PM.

The decisions are mailed around 4:30 to 5:00 PM EST The admitted people are greeted with an awesome video to congratulate you Last year also, the decision date was 15th of December and I got the mail on the 16th of December 3:10 AM here in India.

I hope you meant to say you got the email on the 16th of DECEMBER...

So do they send the video e-mail in conjunction with the e-mail letting you know decisions are made? As in, if you just get one e-mail should you start panicking? haha

They send you one mail with the SUbject line "Your Carnegie Mellon Decision is Available‏" If you are admitted, the text reads "Dear xxx, Hello from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University! I'm writing with exciting news. To learn more, select the link below (or paste the link into your browser). The link will open a brief flash video. Once the video has ended, please click on the links at the bottom of the screen for additional information and next steps." I am not sure about the other outcomes though!
