Oh okay and when did you receive the application completed mail?
The application complete email has nothing to with interview IMO. I was interviewed long ago before my application was marked complete.

I'm still waiting for my Tepper interview invite, but I'm worried that I may have hurt my chances by mentioning the other schools I applied to in my Tepper application. Do you guys think this could impact my chances of receiving an interview?

Are the interview invites being rolled out sequentially? Or was it at once today? Any idea?

Is Tepper done rolling out invites? Given the decision deadline of March 5, it looks like chances of invites from now on look slim? Weird that I did not see a lot of invites so far yet on GMATclub / ClearAdmit either. The timeline looks too tight for the invites to come in >> Scheduling >> decisions?

I don't think so at all. If people did not mention other schools, they'd straight out know its lying. Its not like they just interview exactly the number of students they need for the class. If someone were to put in the other schools, that is a good sign that they are transparent and straightforward in my opinion.

Although, I guess the schools that you actually put in in, may facilitate some judgement on your candidacy, or may not, I don't know. Like, for instance if its all mostly schools below tepper, then maybe it could be perceived as a weaker candidacy or so and vice versa.

Overall, I don't think we should read too much into it. Views welcome

The reason they ask is to determine whether, if they make you an offer, you are likely to accept it. They want their school to be your first choice.

Does make sense as schools tend to focus on yield rate as well. But I am not sure if basing it on this list in the application might be a way to do it. A better place would be on an interview where you ask this as a question and allow the candidate to elaborate.

A person with good stats will have regardless applied to other schools, especially higher in ranking to tepper, whether or not they put it in the application. So rejecting based on this means you lose a good pool of talented candidates

True! If you receive an offer means that the school sees you as a great fit for the class. Schools include this option to mention other programs to understand applicant preferences, assess competition, and predict yield. This helps them refine their positioning and determine whether an admitted student is likely to enroll. It also allows them to evaluate fit, if an applicant applies to very different programs, it may signal a lack of clarity in goals. This information might also influence scholarship decisions, or might place them on a waitlist if they suspect a strong preference for another program. Applicants can also be strategic in their responses.

Again, the options may always vary depending on the applicants and their preferences and we have mutiple thoughts on these lines!
