Any suggestions out there on strategies to appeal for more funding? Google has only yielded so much...

However, I'd say that it's very unlikely that the adcom changes their mind on a decision regarding merit scholarships (either to give any funding or to increase the amount). Having said that, if you ask politely, along the lines of the article, I don't think it'll do any harm. Give it a week or so and then make up your mind (or set your own deadline whenever your deposit deadlines are).

And by the way, my online admission letter didn't mention the scholarship amount, but the official one did. Nevertheless, the adcom member mentioned the scholarship amount on the admission call.

By the way, does anyone have sticker shock? Cost of attendence is $93k per year!! As long one finds good employment afterwards, it shouldn't be an issue and the data does suggest that to be the case but still are any international students worried?

No, but lying on your application is grounds for immediate termination of an outstanding offer and expulsion from Tuck if already attending as per my understanding of the Honor Code.

Haven't read anything about it in any admit student material (welcome packet or website) - so I'm not sure.

I'm very excited about my Tuck admit but at the same time very worried about the finances. Is anyone else skeptical about paying off the $140K + loan post-MBA, esp. given the worsening H1B situation in the US?
I'm looking for some positive reassurances!

Hi all, 2020 admit here. Was wondering if anyone else was concerned that the Arthur L. Irving center construction will dominate our time at Tuck? Looks like they are breaking ground right before we arrive.

I personally don't see it as a problem but I am still trying to figure out exactly how the building will look. From what I've read, it is between Tuck and Thayer but in front of Murdough, which I guess means removing the courtyard area in front of Murodugh.... I don't know. As long as Tuck Mall isn't drastically changed, I don't think I will have much of an issue at all and I am excited that the school is investing in an energy center as it seems to be hot.

I've definitely considered the Center in my decision-making process. I think it is definitely a positive note for Tuck's future, but I am unsure about the impact on my experience.

On another note, does anyone know when exactly the deposit is due? Is it January 19th at 5:00 PM EST?
