I have the same question if we can have some extra time for the recommender? My recommender is changing jobs and is having a hard time finishing the letter. Did you contact the Admissions Committee?

A number of programs does allow extra time (both officially and some unofficially) for recommenders to submit the LOR. This would not be a huge ask for the AdCom since they don't start reading these right away anyway. The only thing you need is to have a valid reason that does not reflect on you poorly as (poor planning skills type of thing)
