I attended the GMATclub MBA Spotlight fair where I got to interact with Tuck Admissions Team. I didn't attend any other event.

I missed the R2 deadline since I got my GMAT waiver like 2 weeks after their deadline. Does it seem that there is a point in applying there soon or would it not matter if I wait until closer to R3 deadline?

Had my Tuck interview on 10th Jan.

The interview was for about 35 mins.

Started with standard questions

Tell me about you? Why MBA? Why Tuck? How tuck will help you achieve your aspirations? what are the things you wish to do in Tuck? what do you bring to tuck?

Then onto some behavioural questions:
Tell me about a time you failed?
tell me about a time you handled conflicts? what is your biggest accomplishment and why.

And then there were a few off topic questions:
Do you want to talk about something that is special to you (not exactly worded like this, but this was kind of what they were asking)

Then towards the end, “do you think I should have asked you something but I didn’t, you can talk about it”

Then questions I have for the interviewer.

The interviewer was very friendly and nice, I felt at ease from the word go. Fingers crossed 🤞

If your application is ready you should take advantage of the guaranteed interview period if you submit by that date (think it’s a month before the R3 deadline).

My client just had her interview and these are a couple of questions a bit different from the norm. The one about a difficult conversation we hadn’t prepared for. So just passing these along.
- a time when you work under pressure
- a time when you need to say something hard to someone (totally unprepared...)
- a new thing learned in the past one or two months

Had my Tuck interview today. very unconventional...went in to know my story ; focused on a few resume pointers ; pretty casual and conversational

not much behavioural questions--they were weaved in the resume pointers in the beginning
