After applying in Round 2 last admissions cycle, being stuck on the waitlist till July and applying in Round 1 this year, it's a huge weight off my chest to finally be accepted with a generous scholarship. I can't believe it. Got the call from Andy at 5.15 am PST.

Time to thank every single person who put up with me over the past two years! :-D

They informed me along with the news.

Its very short.

"I am xyz. Calling from UCLA Anderson adcom.
We are happy to extend an offer for the Class of 2018.
Also we are happy to offer xyz scholarship which should help in your decision making process.
You will receive mails for both over the next couple of days.
Have a nice day"

I said " Thank you. Really Happy. Have a nice day.

Ah this makes me super nervous as I'm based in CA too. I under if there is an order in which they're doing US calls- whether by concentration or alphabetical. Good luck to everyone still waiting!

Anyone know of any rhyme or reason for the order in which they make these calls? I figured they'd just go east to west, but this is pretty early for a west-coast US call....

Are they maybe doing it alphabetically?
