Hey guys,

Quick question! I was accepted to the UCLA Anderson MBA program 3/24, and I was wondering how to find out if you've received merit scholarship. I've seen posts for other schools that say that the merit scholarships, if awarded, are clarified through an additional letter uploaded to the application portal. Is it the same for UCLA Anderson? Or do I need to go into the myUCLA page, make my ID, etc. before finding out if I've received scholarship or not?

Thank you in advance!
Yes, it is attached to your acceptance letter on the online portal if you have one. If not, you won't see anything in addition to your acceptance letter.

Rejected :(
I read somewhere that UCLA provides application feedback to rejected candidates. Anyone here know the process for this?

Rejected as well. It says on the Anderson website that you can request feedback from June 1 - 15 but it doesn't say how :?

Rejected w/o interview, so not surprised. My rejection letter mentioned something about my candidacy for the FEMBA program - was this included in all rejections? Not interested in it, but curious as to whether it's a form letter for all because I am not the profile for a FEMBA (27 y/o and on the opposite coast)

Why would you say you're not the profile for FEMBA? The average age is something like 28-29. There are many commuters from outside the Los Angeles area in the regular and flex program. Also I know many people that relocated from the east coast and found new jobs here.

Definitely see the value in it but my personal and professional goals are geared towards a 2-year full-time program and I work in an industry that would be difficult to balance with a part-time school commitment. Was mostly curious if the FEMBA portion of the letter is a legitimate display of interest from UCLA, or a pat on my back as they show me the door :) Glad you'r enjoying the program, and good luck!

My rejection letter said the same thing. I have a very similar profile as well.

Waitlisted... again.

Once more, as it did on the R1 release date, the notification came via e-mail in the middle of the night. Just standard boilerplate language about how "you remain on our waitlist for potential admission at this time," yada, yada, yada. Nothing at all personal, and probably the same thing they sent out to a few hundred people. My application status page still shows no update beyond the original R1 waitilist notification, FWIW.

Frankly, I figure I'm buried in the midst of a mile-long waitlist with no real chance of admission, with Anderson basically just stringing me along. I've got great raw stats, so I guess they figure I'm useful keep around as an emergency late gap-filler candidate who won't hurt their reported metrics if a lot of other admits bail on them for better schools (which admittedly does happen with their yield). Had came into today expecting to get the ding, but I guess Anderson figured they would keep me around a bit longer. The continued waitlist status actually comes as a mild surprise.

Oh well, looks like I may be in LA regardless this summer and beyond, so it might be that I've got nothing to lose by waiting, I suppose. Still, almost would have preferred an outright ding as opposed to another tour of duty on the waitlist.

Congrats on all who got accepted! I have been wait listed for Round 2. For any wait listed students from Round 1 that got accepted in Round 2, can you please share what you did during the process? UCLA seems pretty open with communication, accepting updates such as GMAT score, promotions, and other achievements. What else can I do to better my chance in converting into an acceptance? Thanks in advance!!

Same here. Got WL-ed at UCLA but accepted by Duke. Will be researching/comparing these 2 schools. Both are really good. Any recommendations/insight appreciated.

Anyone on the R1 waitlist who was either admitted or dinged in the past couple of weeks? Seems like they just kept all of the R1 waitlist applicants on the waitlist through R2 and into R3.
