this is basically work experience and other extra curricular activities all in one section

If it’s work, it’ll be compensated obviously. You’re getting paid

If it’s extracurricular, it can be volunteer if it’s in an ngo

it’s per year actually. So what I did is since this wasn’t clear, I wrote this in description to clarify

You can write 4 and in description write it’s for month. Otherwise you can write 52 and it’s for year. Else you can even write total weeks if multiple years. Just clarify basically.

I had a question about the essay section.
I know that we should combine essays 1 and 2 into a single document personal statement

What about the 'optional essay' to provide additional information that will enhance our understanding of your candidacy for the program.?
Should this optional essay be part of a personal statement or should it be uploaded separately in 'Optional Documents'?
