Guys. What are you using for the CGPA conversion?
While most of the universities want us to report actual grades, Foster is asking us to convert to a 4.0 GPA scale.
I am from a top NIT and all the conversion scale websites mentioned in the application help page do not seem to have proper conversion methods.
Try to reach out to [email protected] for clarification.

Also, check out this link - https://www.scholaro.com/gpa-calculator/. this was given in the foster gpa requirement section.
When you search for India, you will get this link - https://www.scholaro.com/grade-conversion/
If you are score is about 60%, then your equivalent US grade is A, which is 4.0. Just clarify this with someone else, to be sure.

In the online application form, they have given the details for gpa and grade conversion in the help section
Here is what it says:
Converting an international grading system to a 4.0 grading scale:
Applicants from an international institution must demonstrate strong academic achievement comparable to at least a 3.0 on a 4.0 grading scale. To determine your grade point average (GPA), use your institution’s grading scale. You may also use the following sites to convert your institution’s grading system to a 4.0 grading scale:
Foreign Credits Grade Conversion: https://www.foreigncredits.com/Resources ... onversion/
Foreign Credits GPA Calculator: https://www.foreigncredits.com/Resource ... alculator/
WES iGPA Calculator: https://applications.wes.org/igpa-calculator/

Hi,
I have a doubt, my cgpa is 6.6 . But, transcript says to convert into% , use CGPA*10. So, this becomes 66% and according to https://www.scholaro.com/gpa-calculator/, 60 - 100 is considered as 4.0 in US scale. Am I doing this correctly? Hope I am not bothering you

Hi Guys,

I had applied to Foster last year in R2.
I got an interview invite but didn't get in.
I think that had mostly to do with my interview performance.
I am wondering if I should reapply this year since not much has changed in my profile.

Hi,

So, this becomes 66% and according to https://www.scholaro.com/gpa-calculator/, 60 - 100 is considered as 4.0 in US scale. Am I doing this correctly? Since you applied to Foster last year, what did you do ? Apologies as I have asked something that is not related to your query.
On a side note, yes I think you should apply again an give it a shot. The interview might pan out well this time :)

I actually took a very painful process, not sure if it was the right way to do it.
The Foster Website says the GPA should be calculated for the last 60 semester credits.
So I looked at my transcripts and counted 60 backward and made a list of the courses I want to consider to calculate my GPA.
Then I used the scholaro conversion for each course.
https://www.scholaro.com/grade-conversion/
UGC 10 point grading -> US grading.
Finally I summed it all up to calculate my GPA.

Was finally able to submit using my corporate Forex Card. Don't know why my local bank's credit card was being declined, even though I've used it before for international payments.

there's a video interview link?

Also, does anyone know if we have to send official gmat/gre score reports along with a completed app? the status screen says it's waiting for official scores. I thought that was done after accepting an offer?

I don't think they had requested to upload unofficial copy, so I think yes, we do need to send the official scores. Also, on the admission requirements page, it is mentioned "Official GMAT or GRE score report".

I think it is better to get an official clarification from the adcom.

Does anyone know how long it usually takes for video interviews to be requested? And if I have submitted my GMAT score to Foster when I wrote my GMAT I don't need to do anything further even though my application says I need to submit official scores correct?

Thanks in advance.

Foster sends a link to Kira talent platform in 1-2 days after the deadline and the submission deadline for the video interviews is another 3-4 days.
No, you don't need to resend your GMAT score if you have already sent it to Foster within 5 years of it's applicability. Anyways, they will contact you for your missing documents,if any.

Same here. All the best folks! Let's add our questions to the common thread with past Foster video interview questions after we complete.

You should dress the same way you would for a face to face MBA admissions interview.
