Just have to share this bizarre turn of events - Wharton was my last shot at b-school after being rejected by two others and only applying to three. I got no call before noon so assumed this was a no-go (my other two rejections certainly didn't help with confidence) though I thought this was by far my best app and the school I was most passionate about. Came to terms with my life without business school and was getting used to the idea and then got a missed called at 12:20pm from a Philly number followed by an email shortly after that I was accepted with $$$. Wishing best of luck to everyone, this process sucks so hard but we will all be totally ok in the end regardless of outcome here.

Congrats to those admitted in R2. Is there an active waitlist thread? The one I bumped into had no posts/updates even from R1.

You were not kidding about this. Wharton literally “calls you up.” While I got my call a bit after 8am, most West Coast folks got theirs around 7:30am, one even got it at 6:30am haha. But what better way to wake up than getting a call from Wharton! Posted from my mobile device

Cannot stress enough about the importance of the mock TBD, at least for me personally. I did two through Skype with peers on this forum. I encourage all future applicants to practice at least one round.
