Round 1 applicants - How much time do we have after the deadline for completing the video essay and behavioural assessment? Couldn’t find this info anywhere.

Also quick doubt for R1 admits or people who received interview invites - When you received your interview invite, how many days were you given to prepare? As in - what was the latest you could schedule the interview? I am asking because I am applying in R2 with 5th Jan deadline but will be on a vacation from 1st-13th Feb and was wondering if I should cancel, just in case I receive an invite for those dates?

I believe you have until 9th Jan for video questions and behavioral assessment...they have clearly stated this deadline on the Instructions page in application form

Although in the employment section they state that enter full time employment, can we add part-time consulting work in this section? Work that lasted 6 months and was >20 hr/week

Hi everyone. Walking on a tight rope as I decided to apply Yale just 2 days back.

Does anyone know the exact time (AM/PM) by which I need to click SUBMIT. I know R2 deadline is 5th January but given my situation, I think I should know the time as well. Some schools have 12 PM/5PM ET while same give time till EOD (11.59 PM). Thanks!

I see the following in one of their email - "You should remind them that the application deadline is January 5 at 5:00pm US Eastern Time. (Don’t tell them this, but we actually give them a little extra time to submit their recommendation!)"

So I think it is 5 PM ET

does the application fee automatically reduce to $175 at the payment step if you enter a annual salary b/w $15k-$30k as stated on their application portal?

After paying the app fee, the link is available on the portal in 1-2 hours max. There is no additional email about this, so you have to open the app portal and the behavioral assessment link should be there.

I just did the behavioral assessment and its really weird. I have no idea what adcom is trying to gauge from that polar opposite response. But this is what it is.
